It's just a show. Final reg. applied means: accepted and payed for The German civil law (BGB) sees three contracts (Rechtsgeschäfte) when you buy (Abstraktionsprinzip); opposite to the French Code Civil e.g. Two are fulfilled (buying contract, payment=transfer of ownership of the money), the third will be the delivery (=transfer of ownership of the A380 by airbus and the acceptance of that by the customer signing ... let's say the "receipt for the key" ) - or so I think it's a bit less complicated in France.

It's not yet delivered. The Asiana Airlines CEO will arrive on Sunday and sign the papers the next day. Sometimes, the paperwork is completed before the official signing ceremony, because CEOs do not read the fine print in what they sign - they trust their aides/executives to do it. Also, you do not set up a ceremony if there is the smallest risk of a last minute problem.

International contracts are usually governed by a third-party law cited in the contract (Swiss law is often used).

Sure. Not to forget the routes some delivery flights took over London to fulfill British law (lessor).

plan is for the aircraft to depart TOU on 29th arriving at Incheon on 30th. I understand the departure/arrival timings mirror the KE 380 deliveries.
