Part of the above story does not make much sense, in my opinion. " 'Those discussions have since been put on hold amid IAG’s frustration with Airbus, in particular delivery delays on the A320neo narrowbody', the people said." Who can believe, even for a minute, that A320neo delivery delays could play a part in the negotiation of an A380 order ?

There is definitely some truth in this, it keeps popping up every 6 months or so, WW would love some more A380s for BA and possibly another IAG airline as well, if only he can get the price he wants !

Everybody is talking about "Price demands" if they want more A380's. If Airbus needs to continually sell the A380 at a loss its not worth it in the long term. As an Airbus fan this is super frustrating, but I do understand it on a business stand point.

If BA or any other airline want an A380 then they need to pay for it! Airbus needs to state a price and that is that.
