Unless I missed some piece of information, we still don't know why this frame was particurly slow in FAL (it was overtaken by several others). Was the timeline the airline's choice ? Was there some technical issue ? Was some special work performed in a flightline hangar? We may never know ... We now know that Airbus is applying the permanent wing fix on some frames in assembly since the end of 2012. I would say MSN115 got its wings fixed. MSN117 comes after MSN137 so it will have the new wing design already. It looks like AF won't accept any new frames without the new wing design. @fabien can you update the first post?

Is it correct that delivery of 115 now is expected in September?

Is it correct that delivery of 115 now is expected in September? yes that seems to be the case, they don't want it so there is no rush to finish it. I would expect that the fit out will be delayed as Airbus will not want a slow fit out, the other alternative is that the fit out will take place on schedule and then it will be stored for a few months

I don't believe in any storage for MSN115, I even think MSN115 is a (very little tiny) late for a September delivery, we all know that AF frames take a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time at XFW. An average of 15 weeks for OF would lead to the second half of June, and another (average) 15 weeks for flight tests would lead to.... the end of September. Especially also that Summer Holiday might delay flight testings... also taking account that there will be many other frames to flight test... (AF usually doesn't want to take A380s after the Summer Season, it might even be picky and ask for more fligt tests maybe?...) It seems to me that Airbus now is in a somehow little rush for MSN115. Fabien yes I suspect you are right ... I don't know where this year is going !!! time is flying by, maybe the delay was actually in TLS hence the long time between convoy and roll out

September ok, but keep in mind that 2 weeks after this news AF announced PVG in 388 for September 2nd... corporate.airfrance.com/en/press/news/article/item/the-air-france-a380-takes-off-for-shanghai-1/?no_cache=1So did they finally opted for the last days of August? It's a negotiation, it's was planed earlier, so Airbus should be able to make it. And an airline that already have some 388 just needs 1 or 2 days to put a new frame in commercial service.
