I refer to the second picture above. Does the "forward" sign (FWD) mean that engines already have happened to be attached the wrong way, and that manufacturers have to take steps to prevent this happening again ?

I refer to the second picture above. It does not seems to be on the enige, but on the "fork lift scaffolding" (or whatever) is is temporary placed on, which it seems to be possible to place the engine the wrong way onto
