A320neo with PW engines should be certify next week by EASA and by FAA days after. The delivery of firsts a320neo could be done in december. Source in french : bit.ly/1NinMTk

I just wonder if the production frames are allowed to fly before certification? Does anyone know if there is a limit of the number of prototypes? I guess it was already discussed for the Belugas that there is a limit of 5 and I guess it is not coincidence that there allways 5 test ac. Does anyone have detail and may confirm or disprove me?

Just to clarify, the Leap engine being certified doesn't mean any frame (A319neo-A320neo-A321neo) is, or it does?...
