Airframers and engine manufacturers agree on a very tight schedule, which all suppliers have to commit to in order to get business. Then somme suppliers fail to meet the schedule and everybody has to wait for them. Should we be surprised ? Right and someone has to finance the multi-million planes staying on the tarmac while part worth thousands is missing.

The A320neo delivery delays are not due to cabin parts / loos / seats etc, but engines worth Millions, possibly 40+ % of the planes price ! dont confuse A350 delivery problems with the A320neo delivery problems

here I was thinking it was just the bowing and High temp issues that affected the 1000G series. apparently the entire GTF line is running behind. It should be expected on a new engine, not withstanding still a disappointment to hear this.

From the above WSJ article : "On Friday, Mr. Hayes said there are 'five parts that are causing us pain this year' because suppliers haven't been able to deliver them in sufficient numbers and quality to keep pace with engine assembly. A particular problem has been the newly designed aluminum-titanium fan blades, he said".

Six deliveries this month with at least another 2 to follow (Frontier and Spirit), delivery output is clearly improving.

MSN6833 is the only one with a chance being XFW built and already at the cabin fit location. It still has to do its first flight and September only has 5 days left....
