Six deliveries this month with at least another 2 to follow (Frontier and Spirit), delivery output is clearly improving. We can forget Spirit, but another one for AirAsia is being delivered right now and VivaAerobus made its first CAF. Together with Frontier, Airbus may end the month with 9 deliveries. Indigo took delivery of VT-ITL (ex-F-WWDE) MSN 7033 - its 10th A320neo. That makes 2 deliveries on a single day - 1 each of LEAP and P&W. Now September will may end with 10 deliveries!

I'm from India and a big fan of Indigo and Airbus. Been reading this forum since a long time. Special thanks to members like XWB, spotterxfw, FabianA380, Mario and so many others... Welcome too zionite ! Any chance you would have tried the A320neo too?.... Thanks a lot FabienA380. Unfortunately NO but I am looking forward to it. My hometown is not served by Indigo yet but Jet Airways connects us with multiple flights to BOM throughout the day. Good onward connections from BOM and FF program forces me to stick to Jet Airways. Hence travel on Indigo or any other Indian carrier is rare for me.

I think in this article there is some hyperbole, to say the least, about the alleged consequences of P&W's delayed ramp-up. That Airbus has to produce more -ceo to compensate some missing -neo deliveries is well-documented, but I don't think these delays have much to do with QR's recent Boeing order. You don't make up for some delayed narrowbodies with huge widebody orders ; neither do you improvise a major order to punish a supplier.
The difference on the -neo creates some tension between QR and Airbus, but the QR order was duly planned, especially the exercise of 787 options. I don't think this order is a consequence of P&W's problems.
