They have been stored there for a while now. "Grey-Tails", as Qatar doesn't want them anymore. Airbus could certainly find other customers for available neos. Must be some contract thing to keep them this way.

There are only two Indigo frames in that picture, "many Indigos" is a bit exaggerated.

Must be some contract thing to keep them this way. I don't know how many A320neo Airbus has built for QR, but only three of them (or is it four ?) have been canceled and can be resold (Indigo already took one or two of them). We are still waiting for an agreement between QR and Airbus on QR's remaining narrowbody orders. Interestingly, P&W recently claimed to have solved the temperature issue which was believed to hold deliveries to QR. Would QR now take its birds, or are they soon going to agree with Airbus on an order conversion to the A321neo ? |

IIRC AAB has announced to switch all his PW-A320neos to CFM-A321neos.

I agree it can't be final yet as otherwise Airbus would have converted those planes for the next customer in a minute.
