I would not be surprised if suddenly new order appears.... It might be delivered fairly fast.... No, unless Boeing has the NG specific parts in their inventory, which I doubt. The lead time on many such parts is easily +- a year By fairly fast I thought over a year - since otherwise the wait is much much more.....

The NG mass production is winding down. It would likely take years to bring back the supply chain to deliver NG parts in high numbers. Not sure myself but the "only" way seems to clear the MAX (only after proper investigation, modify it as needed) and go on building it.

The MAX will be back in the sky soon, we just don't know exactly when.

Is it truly the last NG, or the NG with the highest line number ?

Last one. The one with highest line number already delivered before this frame.

So this was the last B737 delivery till the Max is back in the air? Wow No. There will be deliveries of the P-8 to US Navy, Australia and RAF. And I'm not sure if 737-800 PH-BCL has been delivered yet, but maybe I missed it. EDIT: KLM PH-BCL said to be rebuilt from scratch and delivery in December
