I think this is the very first time in the history of the A380 that a new A380-route is announced directly as double-daily

With the start of MAD this would make Spain the 9th country in the world to have more than one "A380-port"

Indeed I didn't coun't UAE!.... thanks bvb09 The other option I thought about but didn't dare to write down yesterday was this. So before Spain could become No. 10, first we will be back to 8 from July 1st before reaching 9 again on Aug. 1st. So Fabien's count led to the correct result anyways. How about countries with even more than two "A380-ports"? I think currently we have the USA, UK, China and Australia, to be joined by Germany on July 1st for a total of five.

To be honest bvb09 I wasn't aware of Thai dropping KIX, and I hadn't read that thread yet when reading your post so me not understand (??) .... The highest # of ports indeed is the USA with 8, followed by China with 5 (including HKG, should we include HKG?.....), Australia with 3, and UK with 3..... (then with just 2 are a few more, up to 9 now indeed and soon 8 and soon 9

Airbus has a heart for us A380 junkies and gives us a interactive A380 route map to play around... Thanks Airbus! Where is the A380 flying?
