From The BA Source - 10th February 2014:
"British Airways A380 G-XLED was unable to operate the BA269/BA268 London Heathrow – Los Angeles rotation today due to a damaged door. The flight was instead switched to Boeing 747-400 operation."
It didn't take long for BA to damage her!

I have just seen on FR24 BA G-XLED A380 circling around Chateauroux (France). May be some additional crew training flights as it was done ealier on this year when one of the aircraft was delivered from Toulouse. fr24.com/BAW9161

However the last time an aircraft came to Chateaurox for crew training, was on Saturday: www.thebasource.com/british-airways-a320-g-euuz-positions-to-chateauroux-for-training/ So it's very likely G-XLED flew to Chaterauroux for crew training.

That's a lot of fuel to use for a minor check, I would have thought a 2 year check could have been done somewhere in Europe ?

B and C went there for their C checks in Sep On 24th Jan G-XLED returned from maintenance as BA12. The outward flight starting on 23rd (BA11) was flown by G-XLEE and stayed there until today.
