What kind of geese are they? Good question, let's see... *zooming in, more zoom* ok, there is a little bit to be seen... I hate those bad crops oops - I didn't remember that detail Searching geese pics.. ok, compare yourself: my crop with this pictureI'd say no Fabiancanadian geese but barnacle ones (Nonnen- oder Weißwangengans) Interestingly they first flew south and - over the airport - changed to south east. That made the picture. Wrong direction I mean - the open sea is in the other direction

I'd say no Fabiancanadian geese but barnacle ones (Nonnen- oder Weißwangengans) Fabien goose! I spent a few days in Brussels last year and I was surprised to find some of our Fab...er Canada geese waddling about a park pond. I didn't know they lived on your side of the Atlantic too. They all seem to have a poor sense of direction. It's funny watching a group of them trying to land in the empty lot near here. The whole group would do about a dozen touch and go's, all because one of them forgot to land and went in a different direction.
