Three A380s would be a large drain on company resources. He already has trouble with his firm order ... Not the right time for more whalejets.

If that is true, then QR's ninth and tenth A380 should be ferried to TLS in H2 2017 or H1 2018 (or July 2018 at the latest). AAB's plans may still change, as they often have. I would not rule out a different schedule.

To be fair, QR is refurbishing their 77L which will be replaced by the 777-8 in 4-5 years.
