That's very sad indeed... Wikipedia page goes further saying that the co-pilot was locked out of the cockpit en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LAM_Mozambique_Airlines_Flight_470 , couldn't there be any way to unlock the cockpit door, physical unlock only known from the crew, or even maybe a lock/unlock system with a code only known from the crew?... I was told that there is an axe hidden in each A380 for example. But no one in either FAL(and Cabin Fournishing) or Flightline knew where that was...

Fabien No. And that´s a feature not a bug. If a cockpit door can be held shut by one pilot against suicidal hijackers then it can also be held shut by one suicidal pilot against the other pilot and the rest of crew and passengers trying to save their lives.
