It might be certified for 5.5deg approaches in Russia and Mexico ? Or they just do it anyway ! Flying over London from both ends of the runway needs European certification, does it fly into Europe proper currently ? If it was already certified in Europe (edit - for these type on approaches ), for the price it costs they would have sold many more of them ? NLM city hopper for one.

From an article on Flight Globals website, confirmation the SSJ is NOT yet certified for LCY

The SSJ100 does not yet have certification to operate from the financial-district airport, but SJI says that this will be achieved by the end of 2016, and CityJet plans to launch services from London City the following year. SJI – which as well as having responsibility for sales in Europe, Africa and the Americas, offers training and support for the global customer base – is to provide CityJet with simulator time and maintenance over 12 years.

From an article on Flight Globals website, confirmation the SSJ is NOT yet certified for LCY Sukhoi executives had made it clear that they would certify the SSJ for LCY as soon as they would have an interested customer, which is now the case. Passing the tests should be easy for that aircraft.

C/n 95072 XA-VER departed VCE yesterday Nov 21 bound for Mexico's Interjet.
95071 XA-NGO was added to Interjets fleet earlier this month.

After a very hectic and stressful day I eventually got my SSJ flight, MTT-MEX 4O3557 with XA-OAA I was also told by one of the crews that unfortunately the frame accidented lately would eventually be scrapped, being cheaper than supporting whole teams coming over from Europe/Russia.......is that believable?......
