A Boeing has winglets, duh. Airbus wanted something new and therefore has Sharklets. And now there is Sukhoi and they will offer.... "Saberlets"

Flightglobal usually has the facts in order but this story is bull.
Deliveries to Interjet: none in 2017, Gazpromavia: last in 2015, Thai and Kazakh governments: delivered in 2016.
I count 26 in 2017.

Unfortunately, Interjet and itq SSJ are not immune from the maintenance issues that have been a weakness of Russian airliners.

Apart from msn 95040 (the one that hit a jet bridge back in 2015) they are also cannibalizing msn's 95023, 95028 and 95054.

No matter what CEO Garza says, I don't think Interjet and Sukhoi are the best friends they used to be.
Msn 95087 flew almost three years ago, still not delivered. 95104/106/110 all in Venice "for outfitting" since the first half of 2016....

This denial changes the picture entirely, in my opinion, if they soon return these planes to service as planned.
