*Takes big breath* Chill. Whilst he is in the wrong, he didn't do this on purpose. I like to think we strive to be a friendly community. a380fanclub has been more than apologetic and deleted your pictures upon request. Just because he was not aware of the stipulations of copyright law does not mean that you should be angry with him. I was not aware of how copyright law worked when I first joined the forum and mistakenly posted a picture from Aviation Friends Hamburg with an image credit. Fabien kindly informed me of the rules without making me feel like a criminal. I just feel that a380fanclub deserves to be treated with the same respect. I am sure that he will not make the mistake again. I agree. We should always give people second chance. Copyright law differs from country to country around the world. We should educate the person about the copyright law in friendy way and give him the chance to correct his mistake. If no response then we take it to the next step. Plus, we need new member to actively participate in our forum and feeling it as friendly place not hostile one. addasih and harty236, I give you absolutely right. If someone made a mistake, it should be possible to say this also nicely. On the other hand, I understand also linie 9, there are his pictures and he has the right to decide what happens to everyone. As I said, it is always important for me to communicate kindly cheers TP1

Most of the avatars being used are copied illegally!!!! Now that you say so... I am guilty of that too... Just cannot remember where I got the picture from in the first place. Anyway, there is something to say for both sides. Linie 9 is obviously righteously claiming that his pictures are copyright protected. On the other hand, Richard is not making commercial use of it and he is a dedicated airplane geek like we all are. And of course he should be informed "discretely" about his mistakes. No use in threatening him the way it was done (in my view).

Dear Linie9. To have been called a liar and a thief by you is unacceptable and I demand an apology. As others have stated I have never copied any pictures for any financial benefit. As I said before: you can find many pictures on my page that have been taken by me and associated friends that can be copied by anyone in the world. I could have marked them, but haven't done so. If someone likes my pictures, then it's ok with me if that's a way of sharing my or others passion for the A380. Certainly, the internet and sociale media are not free of any rules, especially on copyright. But thinking that you can stop it is naive. In that way any retweet would be an abuse of copyright. There need to be rules to follow and one them has been broken by me: I didn't ask your permission. But at least I credited the picture to you. You could have told me your point of view in another, less agressive way.

Andrew Cohen (@andrewc75) from Georgia tweeted on Wednesday May 22 his wife noticed a Qantas A380 at Minneapolis, with doors open on the apron. He had a picture, but I am SO careful using some elses pictures right now... Apparently there were even two of them. The registration is unreadable, but does anyone have a clue which aircaft was there and why? I haven't been able to trace a stop at KMSP through other sources. Thanks Richard for the MSP hint!! It seems to me to be very okay to copy/paste links, linking to any info or pictures is fine... Fabien

A shared obsession(?) with a marvelous aircraft, joining a manufacturer's line-up of ground-breaking aircraft. Please, may it long be a sanctuary from ill-temper. Now, about the next convoy ....................

I have tried to find someway to do it on flickr but couldn't see anything

I hope there isn't a copyright thread somewhere else, if so please notify me and I'll move it. Yesterday I found this really cool search function with Google, where you give them a link to a photo you have uploaded and then it searches the WWW for photos that look similar to that one. Usually you'll find all the forums you've uploaded it at. Or you might find a Dutch Forum XWB has uploaded your photo to But on a serious note, plagiarizing is not cool. I just tried it out with one of MSN 137 photos. Doing a bit of further research I realised that two of spotterxfw 's photos have been used by this guy: www.acepilotkhan.com/ Hopefully he has asked you for it before, but well, you never know. For one of the photos he even gives credit to A380_TLS_A350 So here they are: The originals: www.flickr.com/photos/xfwspotter/12748560045/www.flickr.com/photos/xfwspotter/13542475794/And the plagiarized copies: www.acepilotkhan.com/#!Qatar-Airways-A380-in-full-livery/c1gxr/1 www.acepilotkhan.com/#!Qatar-Airways-takes-Airbus-A380-A350-A320-and-Boeing-787-to-Farnborough-Airshow-2014/c1gxr/B6996CFB-6D3B-44B5-B5B8-F97662717596 If you wonder how you get to this Google function, simply search 'Google image' or put this to your bookmarks: www.google.com/imghp?hl=deOh an for spotterxfw in German: Kann gut sein, dass zwei von deinen Fotos geklaut wurden. Hoffe mal das der Typ bei Dir davor nachgefragt hat Hope I could help a bit

I hope there isn't a copyright thread somewhere else, if so please notify me and I'll move it. lol, it feels awkward copying and pasting the other entire post into here. But here's the meat of it... Love this feature and have been using it for ages. Especially if there's a picture I want to find in a better resolution or some background information etc. on it. If you're a Chrome user, it comes built in. Just right click on image and click "Search Google for this image".
