Which are the airports which are served by other widebodies but where A380 actually cannot fly?
A380 has a big wing, so it has shorter takeoff distance than 747. And the many wheels distribute the weight on runway.
What is a restriction is in places where the total weight is limited.
Examples: Kastrup - there is a road tunnel under runway, blocking A380 Mexico - it is built on soft ground, parked 747s must be moved often because otherwise the ground sinks and pavement cracks, so A380 cannot fly Canberra - soft ground like Mexico
What are the other important 747 destinations unfit for A380?

I would take CPH of this list: And the Mexico City should also not be on that list: www.airport-technology.com/projects/mexico/

I would take CPH of this list: CPH is in the similar situation as OSL and ARN. The A380 has visited the airport, but they all require some modification in order to have regular A380 operations as they have gotten special permission when they have been there so far, so they still should be on the "no list"

Usually (or except in some special cases), when a major airline wants to operate A380s from an airport, the required investments are made, simply because they are profitable. Of course, sometimes the airport operator needs subsidies ...

I think gates would be sorted out if somebody decides to fly her there. It would be also interesting to hear what should restrict the A380 in ARN and OSL. I am not aware of any limits to runways and taxiways on both of them.

Nothing big, but it means the airport is not certified for regular A380 operations as of today

We can finally, soon, take ORD off the list. Two A380 gates will be ready by mid 2016. I am sure LH and EK are not the only ones wanting to take the big bird there.. Chicago gets two A380 gates
