Thanks vb6610! how was the trip and how was PVG? flight was great, smooth sitting on upper deck seat 97K in the LH mini economy class cabin ( 4 rows x 8 seats 2-4-2) behind the business class cabin. This mini economy cabin is not available on all LH A380s. My wife also enjoyed the flight and liked the A380 upper deck layout. Boarding was through the lower deck and up the stairs in the back. Deplaning was through the top deck. Shanghai was great, part business, part sight seeing. It is an amazing City! Just as Beijing which we also visited, for business and site seeing. We took the train from Shanghai to Beijing ... just under 5 hours with only two stops, most of the time the train was travelling at 300 km/h. The flight back PEK-MUC was on the LH A340-600 D-AIHP. While waiting to Board in Beijing I also saw the LH A380 D-AIMC starting the flight PEK-FRA. |

AIMK has been involved in a security issue on Dec 12. Operating LH441 from Houston, she diverted to JFK after police received threat by phone.

540 people? Do they really have 31 crew+509 passenger (100% loadfactor)?

It turned around yesterday enroute to Delhi over Iran with hydraulic system problems and flew back to Frankfurt for some normal landing.
However repairs seem to take longer than expected with two planned flights switched to other aircraft.
