Do we know if this is the new or current configuration? It does have the dish on the roof but I recall LH saying the 4-class A380s will be introduced in summer 2014. Still, it sounds weird if MSN 146 and 149 would have the old cabin. The dish only mean it has internet While it will be a little weird, we must also consider the lead time for the new seats and configuration, which can be quite long sometimes. Lufthansa has yet to present their new Y+

All already-delivered LH frames have an average period of time of 9.9 weeks between roll out (XFW) and delivery, with the last 3 ones (MSN070 MSN072 MSN073) with 12 to 14 weeks. Shortest time is MSN048 with 5 weeks. With these info delivery might not be concluded before late March/early April, though these are only numbers and who knows what the plans are, my personal guess is that LH isn't that much in a hurry to take delivery of new frames, with no new route yet announced. Though, LH will start again A380 services to PEK (13th March), JFK (30th March) and SFO (22nd April) so LH might need a few extra frames at some point between mid-March and end of April?... Fabien

So answering your question, knowing that MSN141(EK) needed 5 flight tests after outfitting "+" one week between CAF and delivery (planned for 14th February), MSN146 unfortunately won't definitely make it in February..... hopefully still in March then......... Fabien

MSN 146 could still be delivered in February if LH was crying for it, but I believe Airbus has been adapting the pace of pre-flight activities to meet LH's demands --> a slower timeline is more likely.
