I think either the Body Join is empty with MSN150 going to go inside very very soon, or it is already there. There is no chance that MSN152 could overtake MSN150... I think this hangar is the bay opposite the Body Join. On this picture that was MSN149 waiting for Body Join, so now that MSN149 left the Body Join MSN150 must have entered it, and MSN152 still outside should enter this bay (opposite the Body Join). Fabien I hope there are no newbees looking at this. Would hate them to think that 149 followed by 150, means A380's are built in serial number order

FAL was looking rather full. We have now 2 frames in FALstage1, and only 3 frames in FALstage2 for 4 bays available... Fabien

Fabien Is there a holding bay if a frame can't go to FAL stage 1, or does it just sit in the body join? The spare space seems to be for the bits of the next frame waiting for body join. If there's nowhere for joined frames to go, I can't imagine there being a rush to get another one joined. As always, questions asked in ignorance

Yes there is, there is the bay opposite the Body Join, and also 4 (I think?) Flight Line Hangars/extra bays. It seems though the space where the pieces are waiting for the Body Join isn't part of all these.. Fabien

Fabien I suppose the point I was making was that 'joined' frames would just be parked somewhere and not worked on. So would Airbus just keep ferrying and body-joining frames if they can't carry straight into FAL. Will have to see if the Emirates frame on Convoy 1 of 2014 finds a spot in FAL
