Fabien. You have MSN 210 (CV2015/19) at Toulouse since 8/8/2015, when I think you mean 9/8/2015. Sorry for being so picky.

Sorry to be pedantic, but if there are 6 FAL bays, a body join bay and a prep area what is the 'assembly bay' location you quote for QR7?
If it is on the flight line, albeit in a non-rolled out state, presumably it can't be occupying a 9th assembly bay.
Posted from ignorance of whether there are the number of assembly bay entries you have quoted.

hi noistar! There are actually 5 FAL-bays, 2 stage1 and 3 stage2... The 3rd stage1 is a multi-task station, 31C, where I assume MSN193 was in before being put on the FL for some reason... One prep area indeed and the last frame (MSN214) could still be waiting outside... The problem with MSN193 is that nobody would know where it is, and if a picture luckily pops out where we could still see it on the FL, the following day it could still be moved elsewhere... (back to FAL, 31C, FL-hangar,.....?..).. On the 1st post here I quote Assembly Bays indeed, but just to mean that it is still in the stages of assembly.... What do you think would apply best?....

If only the engines are missing, it will not see a FAL station again, as that could be done in any FL hanger, but if the frame is waiting for some other equipment not having arrived, it could be pushed most likely into 31C again.

If there are 8 frames in the assembly bays (albeit with latest one lurking outside), it seems best to use our 'knowledge' that the frame is on the flight line or elsewhere, but not the assembly bays IMO

My point about routes for QR7 and 8 were referring to other posts, probably Emirates, where the comments 'this frame will not be needed until xxxx because that's when its route allocation is planned'.
Are there any clues?
My money is still on QR7 being unwanted temporarily. We seem to be hiding facts 'spending forever in FAL and finally appearing without engines' as we find reasons. 6 frames have overtaken it to date. What possible unique 'bits' could it be waiting for?
Apologies for raising opinions from ignorance.

Is BA12 the only RR frame in HLS, sorry, TLS?

Is BA12 the only RR frame in HLS, sorry, TLS? Apart from test frames and stored frames, yes, the only RR frame in production. But we only have until MSN225 and it will switch over to RR frames with very few EA frames in between.
