This light-hearted thread seems to be becoming very competitive with a mass change to Emirates within 2 days of the confirmation. Something triggered this so perhaps whatever caused this change should have been the cut-off.
Not sour grapes - I still await 117 boo hoo!

Maybe time for a "change of rules"? I know it is just a silly game, but if we play games the rules should be clear and consistent in my view.
Shouldn't we consider a bet is a bet, and no changes allowed once a bet is placed?
This bears the risk that everybody will wait as long as possible to place a bet as information is coming in via the forum, however the risk for people that wait too long is that they are simply too late.
Once again, just a proposal, any opinions are welcome.

I also suggest we set a clear deadline for bets on each convoy. To avoid confusion, the deadline for an upcoming convoy should be posted after the MSN carried on the previous one has been disclosed.

Yes it would be more fairly if everyone have 1 bet and it can´t be changed any more.

My point of view is that it could be changeable until the MSN is confirmed, why could not change?... Change could be led by pictures emerging on the forum (MSN152 and MSN151 lately for example), this could show who is following the activities in the forum. So, not to make it mandatory (to follow every day), it would keep make it up to everyone, to check, and to change. And in case of a change that could lead to a winning bet, that would still have been up to the person. For example, pictures lately of a 'ready-for-convoy' MSN150, so I think a few members changed their bet to MSN150, but it appeared to be another one (MSN149), so I think challenges are still there even if clues are released. To me the rule of this game was and should still be, bet change allowed until MSN is confirmed?... Fabien

It's a funny guessing competition, and not really betting...unless I've missed something and there is money involved?
Fabien should keep the rules as they are

(also there is a funny proverb in France saying that only stupid people do not change their minds... not applying to anyone here specifically lol and no offence to anyone, but as hard the betting is I think it is very okay to make one's mind to a bet, and ~even without clue appearing~ making up the mind another way and changing the bet...?)...
