I wonder why the slides are always too short, as demonstrated again last Saturday. Wizz Air accident see the second picture... When an airplane tips forward or backward, this almost always causes injuries.

Write off or no? That's a pretty new airframe I think, and Sharkletted? Edit: A little personal milestone with the post: 500 posts! And I'm finally rolled off the Assembly line! Another 1000 more to go before being delivered...

I wonder why the slides are always too short, as demonstrated again last Saturday. When an airplane tips forward or backward, this almost always causes injuries. Just a guess, but If the slides were longer, then the angle will be shallower which may mean that it will be slower for people to get down the slides, making them less efficient. I would also think that slides are more often used when the aircraft is level and at normal height therefore they are designed to be most efficient in those circumstances. However, I do agree, steep slides are a problem. Write off or no? That's a pretty new airframe I think, and Sharkletted? Edit: A little personal milestone with the post: 500 posts! And I'm finally rolled off the Assembly line! Another 1000 more to go before being delivered... The aircraft was delivered early last year, and fitted with normal wingtip fences. Congrats and enjoy your first flight
