Many of Airbus deliveries to the Far East makes a stop in DWC, and Skyliner list this as their destination instead of the aircraft's final destination. Just keep in eye on Skyliner and you'll often notice this

Leeham News has done a very interesting comment about airframe cost over the time covering 737NG vs A320! Due to be fully fatigue tested and continuously improved, the A320 has lower maintenance cost compared with the 737NG after 11 years in service. From year 1-10 the NG has a nice advantage, after this period the MRO starts to get more expensive... So here we have the explanation for the business model of Ryanair. But there is one question: Who will buy all this relative young frames when Ryanair will switch to Max or whatever? read more here: airbus-comes-up-for-air-responds-to-boeings-form-41-reliance

Go to www.planespotters.net/Airline/Air-FranceNow, click on the A320 row in the table with all the aircraft types. Next you will see the A320-100 and A320-200 and you will see 13 scrapped and 1 written-off. Click on these numbers to see the aircraft information (and click on the c/n to see the whole aircraft history).

Actually what I am looking for is what I flew with, on my flight CDG-PRG on 04/12/2006 AF1982, either a A320-100series or A320-200series, but it seems that all -100s were scrapped a few years after 2006 then, so my flight stays a mystery for now,... Fabien
