I read on airliners.net that EK started operating LAX with one of their newer A380s. There was a speculation in the thread whether this flight is weight restricted and whether EK has put one of its 573t (or is it 575t ?) version A380s. Does anyone know if Airbus has started delivering 573t version A380s? If so, from which MSN? I know EK and BA were interested in that version.

From memory, I think BA's MSN 095 was the first of the increased MTOW and I think it's 575t

DXB-LAX is 7246nm, even with the most adverse winds, this flight should not reach the fuel-volume restricted part of the payload range chart, it's MTOW restricted.

Some Managers from Alitalia playing tricks with their narrowbodies..... They wish to be able to operate A380s, dreams can become reality one day, even if you are known as one of the worst financial nightmare of an entire Nation. Ooops, I was bad...
