I'm wondering indeed if they have other sources than us (while still mixing thing up...)

I have seen before of BAsource and EKsource that they don't seem to know the difference between acceptance and delivery. Or said made a first flight, which happened to have been weeks or even months earlier. Delivery of 151 was scheduled for next week. 149 also sat idle about a week since her CAF and before delivery. If 151 is scheduled for delivery next week then that's when it will happen. It is just good to know Airbus are getting the frame delivered in time for the ramp up of A380 services BA have planned . Time for an unrelated(sorry) cheap dig at current late 787 BA deliveries .

Peeps,
Acceptance & delivery are two different things!
MSN144 / G-XLED was delivered 8 days after being accepted.
So the earlier guess at next Thursday by AOIspotter appears pretty accurate, which still puts her 4 days early for the twice-a-day LAX service ramp up.

I mentioned delivery of 151 on May 15 a day before AOIspotter and was told tonight BA has scheduled preflight preparations for XLEF on the 15th and 16th.

Excuse me...Due credit to a380fanclub for posting that he heard from someone within BA that delivery is expected on the 15th. My apologies for missing that...

She is still wearing her test registration. If you enlarge that and look very closely, I swear I can see the G from her permanent registration (just to the left of the test registration's F). Am I imagining things? I always assumed that the permanent registration was applied at the delivery center after the test registration was removed… I guess maybe it is always there, just covered up while the lady is being outfitted and tested?

The airline's registration is usually painted indeed, and the F- registration is a sticker applied over it, we can clearly see it in a few documentaries
