Not 100% sure but I think the low approach or touch & go is to test the landing gear

I have no track of the touch-and-gos unfortunately but indeed I can remember that a few frames did it... Fabien

Wasn't talking specifically about touch & go. I was also referring to low approach. You can notice a lot in olischa videos that A320 doing low approach. Also, a lot of Boeing spotters' photos showing B737 and other Boeing frames doing touch & go in their first flight (in Boeing they do more touch & go that low approach)

It's to test the autopilot in auto go-around mode. Auto landing is done on the actual landing at a CFF.
