I absolutely loved to see the images of the Ju-52 flying together with the A380. Seeing Jürgen Raps commenting on the Junkers makes it even more special. I wonder if it was him flying the A380 in the video. For the A380-lovers not familiar with Jürgen Raps, he was the Lufthansa A380 chief pilot until he retired. "iron Annie" = "Tante Ju" the Junkers Ju 52/3 was the first allmetall airplane in the world. I have to correct this statement: The Junkers J-1 was the very first metallic airplane, flown in 1917: Junkers J.1The Stout Air Sedan, flown in 1923 was the very first all metallic commercial monoplane: Stout Air Sedan

Thank you limoncello, the © notice says FF (first flight) of D-AIMG that means delivery flight and that happens in Hamburg-XFW. The date is missing, it was "Hafengeburtstag" 2011.05.07. This picture belongs to a series about MSN 069 - you can see them larger und newly processed when I reach this number on my to do list One of them became somewhat famous, so her's an older version. Tante Ju is already out of sight
