Interesting - but interview with Dr.Peters was more optimistic - and he seemed happy with scraping the low MSNs and selling some parts..... As always we will see

Could some German native speaker give us a quick summary in English, please ? Dear philidor. I'll try it! At the end of September, a shareholders' meeting of the Dr Peters Group took place. Investors have given the "Dr. Peters Group" 97 million dollars ten years ago In addition, loans came from various banks. With this money, an A380 was purchased and rented to SQ for 10 years. A total of four funds were established. SQ has now terminated the leasing contract because of "significant declining passenger numbers". The Dr Peters Group has been looking for a new tenant for a total of two years. There is, however, no concrete and economically acceptable offer. The A380 is therefore parked in Tarbes. Monthly charges: 94,000 USD. From February 2018, a customer (not named) would like to lease the four engines. Monthly revenue: 480,000 USD. The problem for investors now is that the revenues are below the $ 1.7 million that SQ paid to Dr Peters Group. The fund must occupy $ 890,000 a month to meet all financial obligations. The solution of the Dr Peters Group is, of course, very simple: the disbursement to investors drops from 7.5 percent to 0 percent. Modern market economy Cheers TP

Thank you, Tomparis ! The existence of an offer to lease the four engines is entirely new information. Interestingly, however, no mention is made of any offer to lease the aircraft, not even from HiFly. Is it because that offer is deemed too low, or because Hi Fly is interested in other frames, but not in this one ?

Consider this is the FIRST customer A380 - i.e. it is going to be HEAVY and might have other problems solved in later pieces.
Also the price was about half or maybe 2/3 of later A380s which speaks for itself.

Interesting, but that colour scheme is so bad, like everyone else already said. With the current business development, I will be on the new A380s a lot if they be used on LHR-SIN route.
