When did they use this livery? Looks better than most today, however. It was in use in the 60s / 70s before British Airways was formed, it did feature on some original B747-100s

I can remember flying on one from POS-LHR as a kid, half painted in BOAC and the other in the new BA livery! Very iconic this livery!

The BA B747 in the 💯th anniversary BOAC colour scheme is to fly with the Red Arrows at RIAT Fairford Sat 20th July 😀
