Linie 9, I like that first picture of yours. On that small road you might expect a cow, and a huge aircraft shows up ! She seems to be lost in the countryside, and you wonder : how on earth did she get there ... Did she run away ..? lol, philidor! Linie 9, what aircraft does that NASA tail belong to? Edit: Never mind. Just found the link in your post.

Wow, some outstanding shots lately. The ABC frame in the snow is quite striking. Keep them coming! :-)

Ahh, the LH one is awesome. The reversers are kicking up so much it looks like she is coming out of the snow! The 8i really shines from that angle as well, I feel. That first CV shot I have never seen before. Great composition on that shot IMO. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I like how everything in that picture is white except for the plane...or well at least a third of it.

... Linie 9, what aircraft does that NASA tail belong to? Edit: Never mind. Just found the link in your post. Now one week later she performed a 6 hours check flight and came back a bit too late - after sunset. A challenging situation - see the video here mid of page: www.aviation-community.de/forum-nord/viewtopic.php?f=8&p=136847#p136847(btw: you see 50% of ALL existing flying 747SPs on the same day in HAM) SOFIA approaching HAM rwy 23 - 2014.12.13
