the reduction in flying is mainly on the A330/340 fleets. The A380s continue more or less unchanged. Is it wise to take delivery of an A380 when using it forces you to ground another widebody ? Wouldn't it be wiser to slow deliveries a bit to have fewer aircraft on the ground ? What about 777s ? Will they all be immune from grounding ? Of course, what Clark says is obvious. What is less obvious is continuing your fleet expansion when you have many aircraft sitting on the ground.
Alfamale already answered me, and of course this is a matter for management to decide.
