Perhaps you may be right. But I'm trying to see how well the a.net link is related to the number of members on our board getting online. My theory was that the A350 MSN3 had its first flight on the 14th of Oct, and many members may have logged on for updates in the following days. Another good explanation. I would have thought the website count included guests as 'users' afterall, when it lists current users online it breaks it down into staff, members and guests. eg

But my theory can still work though with non-members in the mix as well. Perhaps it's a combination of both factors.

I suppose that a member joining the forum three times in 24 hours counts as one, whereas a guest doing the same cannot be identified and therefore counts as three. Am I right ?

With guests it will depend how clever the board is ? If the board logs the IP address of the device a guest uses to access the board, then they could just be counted once ?
