emirates full frame asiana 1 piece by the way, what is the point of carrying one piece in advance? Do we know the maximum size for a convoy? Or the maximum numbers of convoys? If you carry seven pieces on six convoys you have one frame more convoyed. Other possibilities: is somewhere some storage full and the piece is moved to Toulouse to be stored? Does the piece need some extra work and the best place for that work is in Toulouse? There can be many reasons to convoy one piece extra.

There can be many reasons to convoy one piece extra. Could even be the fact that a centre section was damaged beyond repair (it has happened before on an A320/A321...). That would be a first, convoying the same number twice

I do not think that it is a possibility, as it should take some time to prepare a center section for a certain customer. I think somebody would have heard something if an frame having gone through body join and being in FAL would have a damaged center section

Certainly, a truck from the previous convoy inadvertently dropped its load, and the driver did not notice ! They have been looking for the missing part and found it. They are just sending another truck to pick it up !

Trying to be serious, I suppose that one boat came in weeks in advance. They now have to ferry the load to TLS as quickly as possible, to cut harbour fees.
