On Saturday Aug 25th, F-HREU was inbound to ORY from REU. Fog in ORY but nothing stopping a bunch of 320s and 330s from landing. But fog did stop this A350 from landing. After circling for 2 hours, it eventually diverted to CDG. www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/f-hreu#e9e4022one would imagine that this brand new A350 is capable of landing in almost any weather especially that other aircrafts were successfully landing in ORY at the same time. Could it be crew related ? not certified for this kind of landing ?

The aircraft may be capable, but at the end of the day it's up to the crew to decide whether they land or not. If the crew doesn't feel comfortable, they won't take any risks.
