Those engines look white to me. If so, why hasn't Jetstar gone for the grey ones like everything else in their fleet?

yea the white on the engines lookls a little bit strange, nothing else is white at the plane...

Could they still be painted later on? As I remember, BA had white engines for a while too.

Could they still be painted later on? As I remember, BA had white engines for a while too. I doubt it. The BA engines were white until the complete airframe was painted.

Second frame for Jetstar looked complete and almost ready for roll out to the paint hangar on Sunday.

Can anyone remember if Qatar had engines grey when attached or if it was painted later?

Can anyone remember if Qatar had engines grey when attached or if it was painted later? They painted them before taking delivery. They were first rolled out just white, see link below. paineairport.com/kpae5165.htm
