Don't go faster than the music
(French proverb)
I'd see probably 2, MSN172 and MSN175...
Au contraire Fab! ;-) Herr Spohr has said they'll take the remaining two in Q1 in February's Magazin! :-)
www.lhm-lounge.de/downloads/standardbeitrag/610257/lh_1502_inter.pdf"We are continuing to make great strides with the modernization
of our fleet this year. In the first quarter of 2015, two new Airbus
A380s – our 13th and 14th – will be joining our A380 fleet, and by
the end of April, we will be boosting our B747-8 fleet with another
four new Boeing B747-8 aircraft. We are, in fact, the only airline
worldwide to have years of experience operating both aircraft
types. Lufthansa Cargo, our air freight company, is also currently
expanding its fleet and will take delivery of and start operating a
further Boeing B777F this month.
For the ten-year period from 2015 to 2025, we have 263
new aircraft with a total list price of 33 billion euros on our order
books. By investing in these new airplanes, we underscore our
position not only as the No. 1 airline in Europe but also as the No.
1 aviation group in the world. Lufthansa also secures jobs, since
each of our new long-haul aircraft guarantees work for more than
220 employees, half of whom are “flying personnel.” Last but not
least, a modernized fleet creates less noise for the people living
near our airports and has less of a damaging effect on the environment
because new aircraft are up to 30 percent quieter than
the older models and consume considerably less fuel. Another –
also not insignificant – factor is the money it saves us.
En route to our stated goal of becoming the world’s first western
Five Star Airline, we wish to offer you far more than state-ofthe-art
cabins and excellent service on board. We want to be the
No. 1 in terms of the environment and offer you a younger, more
environmentally friendly fleet to make air travel with Lufthansa an
even better experience.
Keeping flying with us – we look forward to welcoming you
on board!"
