Fabien I believe 1000 single Sharklets. 1000 pairs would mean like 2 years' worth deliveries, and I don't think Airbus has pushed out that many Sharklet A320s and spares.

Fabien I believe 1000 single Sharklets. 1000 pairs would mean like 2 years' worth deliveries, and I don't think Airbus has pushed out that many Sharklet A320s and spares. It is still confusing - "The company last year achieved the capability to produce 50 shipsets per month" - i.e. it looks like pairs. i.e. we might assume that there is some time in before the sharklet is connected to the wing and the time the plane goes out. i.e. we might look at production increase - discussed already and or installation to some planes already delivered without ?

Sharklets may be retrofitted to existing aircraft, so it is perfectly logical to have a sharklet production capacity exceeding current aircraft production.
