Fastest EK frame for OF is MSN108 with 11 weeks and 3 days, second fastest (EK) is MSN153 with 11 weeks and 5 days. I would guess that MSN150 added to EK's fleet would help serve the increase of services to CDG on 01/06/14, though the next announced services for EK is the second daily flight to DME on 01/08/14 so I guess no hurry for MSN153, it should still be delivered before July and help replace frames having the wings repaired. I would imagine then somewhere around end of May?... Unless I am counting wrong and MSN150 would help the service increase to BKK on 01/05/2014, and MSN153 help the service increase to CDG on 01/06/14?... Fabien

What is going on with this one - it's roll-out was over 3 weeks ago so CFF should come shortly. There was no news on this frame for some time.

Usually at both TLS and XFW frames are(were) rolled out and then are(were) spending some time thereafter in FL hangars, this is probably what happened to MSN153 and apparently it may have reappeared on the FL on Thursday, we can't see the number but it is probably it: Test flight of a A380 Asiana airlines at Hamburg Finkenwerder airport (airbus) by flyjelle, on Flickr I bracketed are/were, as I think it is still the case at XFW, but likely not much more at TLS,...

I understand that oils will burn when you run the engine for first time causing a lot of smoke. What I fail to understand why there is smoke after first engine run for outfitted frame. Aren't those same engines which are used to ferry the frame from TLS to XFW?
