It seems Dubai Airshow will be one of the biggest airshows in term of orders. Thought better create a separate threads for Airbus and Boeing orders during the show

And the orders continue, with Boeing confirming Emirates commitment for 150 777Xs and announcing 50 777X orders from Qatar and FlyDubai's commitment for up to 100 Max8s and 11 737NGs. Shame, I was hoping they would switch to the neo, oh well. twitter.com/BoeingAirplanesThey twittered 100 777 MAX-8's for FlyDubai... Typo right? They mean 737 right?

Unless the 777X now has a name and FlyDubai decided they have to keep up with their neighbors yes they mean the 737. Nice observation though, I'm surprised they made such a big mistake.

If it were only wrong in that tweet I wouldn't have asked, because it's an obvious mistake. But I've already read some articles where they list FlyDubai as new 777 customer
