Report on Air Finance that she has been leased by Amedeo on a 12 year contract. I wonder if this one counts as the first of 20 A380's Amedeo ordered. If so, how do we count the Emirates and Amedeo orders? t.co/CjH7vyl8VX |

It has nothing to do with Amedeo's direct A380 orders. What is surprising, however, is that the lessor is Amedeo, not Doric. This type of comparatively low-risk business was so far Doric's (a company which has signed and arranged many sale-and lease-back agreement to finance EK's fleet) whereas Amedeo was supposed to do a more risky business (speculative leases). Amedeo, which was created by former Doric executives, seems intent on grabbing the whole business ... |
