This is expected to be the next EK delivery, overtaking MSN 157.

This is expected to be the next EK delivery, overtaking MSN 157. Do you know why this is so ? Is it just that Airbus was slower with MSN 157, or was MSN 158 more urgently needed, or is there any other reason ... ?

They will both be delivered this month. I can't check the exact dates right now, but both will be after the 19th, with 158 about 5 days ahead of 157.

Two deliveries in August would be a very good number.

Thanks alfamale!! I think it'll be hard/short for MSN157 as it hasn't had its CFF yet...... hopefully!
