Why didn't they decrab it just before touchdown? When you look at the crosswind testing back then they did it. Now at Heathrow they finally even turn the nose more into the wind? On the video from MBL you see two landings the first one they seem to decrap on the second one they do not do it. Difficult to see, because you do not watch the frame in line with the runway. At LHR I assume the frame got a gust directly before touching the runway, turning into the gust.

Doesn't the rudder deflect before? To me it looks like a commanded move.

Doesn't the rudder deflect before? To me it looks like a commanded move. I think it is a commanded move. If you crap and a gust pushes you further, you have to crap more to stay in line with runway.

I just found this yesterday night. 2 years old but a lot of new sights in Finkenwerder. More than 90 Minutes, German only, muting helps ;-) Enjoy - if this is new to you
