Really liking how Airbus is doing PR right with a lot of patience without making a hype. They've been celebrating milestones appropriately every step of the way keeping the world interested, but only when the time is right and the aircraft ready. Props to them.  |

OK let's hope the higher ETOPS will come in short time.
If I remember well they wanted more from the beginning, that is why I asked.

While the EASA might certify the A350 with higher ETOPS, the FAA won't.
Per FAA, ETOPS 240 can be applied for 1 year after ETOPS 180, another year for ETOPS 330 and yet another year for ETOPS 420. So that's three years from now.
