Really liking how Airbus is doing PR right with a lot of patience without making a hype. They've been celebrating milestones appropriately every step of the way keeping the world interested, but only when the time is right and the aircraft ready. Props to them.

OK let's hope the higher ETOPS will come in short time.
If I remember well they wanted more from the beginning, that is why I asked.

While the EASA might certify the A350 with higher ETOPS, the FAA won't.
Per FAA, ETOPS 240 can be applied for 1 year after ETOPS 180, another year for ETOPS 330 and yet another year for ETOPS 420. So that's three years from now.
