It just came to my mind that this plane TOOK LESS THAN 8 MONTHS FROM CONVOY TO DELIVERY. (Jan 16 convoy start - Sept 11 delivery) WOW. WOW. WOW. Keep on going. MSN 151 is the fastest A380 so far, it arrived in TLS on 26 september and was delivered on 15 may to LHR.. BA's frames seem to be the less problematic ones, are always faster than others! Good job Airbus! Ciao AOIspotter

That is because the BA A380's lack interesting features like the Business Bar, Showers and even the exterior cameras. I am not a fan of Emirates Bling but the BA frames have to be the most boring available. A missed opportunity which I think will them cost passengers in the future as Emirates and Quatar take over the world....... JT (PS Disclaimer, I only flew on GLEA economy LHR/Frankfurt and return in Club and have not been in any other A380)

JT (PS Disclaimer, I only flew on GLEA economy LHR/Frankfurt and return in Club and have not been in any other A380) I'd have to agree with you. After almost a year of planning, anticipation & excitement, I got my first chance to fly in an A380. I flew G-XLEB in First (outbound) and G-XLEF in CW (return). While the flight in F was enjoyable, the food truly incredible (for airline food), and the Flight Attendants outstanding, there was nothing else that I found special about the trip. The FC suite was nice, but nothing more than I have found on other airlines, and nothing overly spectacular about it. Blah, really... So much so that when the time came for the return (and only my second time on an A380), I was not the least bit excited about it. " Oh yeah, another flight..." Once onboard, it's just another plane! I do have to say that the ying-yang configuration of BA's Club World is ridiculous. I know they have used it for years on the 747's with great success, but this was my first experience. Not really one I care to repeat. I feel they could have done a lot more with the CW real estate, but I guess they feel they have a workable solution... I've flown the BA 747 in FC several times. Short of the A380 being more quiet than the 747 (as many others have already reported), I couldn't tell the difference! If I can't manage to swing FC in the future, I'll find another airline for BC.

But wait, aren't the camera's standard so the pilots on the flight deck can overlook the taxiing etc.? I recall seeing pictures of that from BA's cockpit. So, in that case it wouldn't be too much of a problem to link the same image to the IFE I would think...?

The BA interior is deliberately understated and elegant. 99% occupancy rate on its twice daily LA service. Not bad for an uninteresting cabin.

True, but I think having access to the cameras from IFE would be nice.
