It looks like MSN169 beats MSN160 to be the 151st delivery, today.

From the above picture, it looks like both the A350 and the A380 share a similar tail geometry, while the difference is only in their sizes...

That's indeed how it looks, but I understand aircraft length a has strong influence on VTP design (size), so there may be more differences than visible at first sight ... |

Of course, I'm not saying that it's definitely the exact same thing. It could be, in its basic design principle, similar with some minor tweaks (or it could just be an illusion). But just mindful that some aspects of aircraft aerodynamics design can be good enough to be recycled onto other types, with a little bit of scaling and tweaks. The A380's wingtip fence is a very good example.  |
