Interesting that RTO went unnoticed, even from our friend A380_TLS_A350..... Either it happened after the Engine Run two days ago, or maybe happened today before first fights. Some days ago we had the taxi-test and RTO on the same day @xfw - OZ#1: a380.boards.net/thread/331/a380-msn152-oz-1?page=21Certainly not. The procedures check: 1. engines are running and breaks work (taxiing) 2. engines deliver full thrust and the breaks work (RTO) if that is ok the first flight may start.

If I remember correctly, we also did not spot a RTO before MSN 137's CFF in September 2013... and that frame performed a RTO just a few hours ago, after several flights !
I find it hard to believe that QR's frames would follow a special process just because there is a lot of time to deliver them.
We should scrutinise this RTO issue ... Is Airbus introducing new practices ?

I think Boeing does it after first flight but this will be change of process for Airbus. Boeing does the RTO and first flight usually on the same day, and RTO is always done before first flight.

I'm wondering if QR would like to do the delivery ceremony at Toulouse, with one painted frame (MSN137) and one unpainted frame (MSN160), as Korean Air did a few years ago at Toulouse with MSN035 and MSN075... That could explain why MSN160 landed back at Toulouse at FF, and also would explain why it was convoyed already, even if it planned for delivery in 2015... (edit)(why not even take pictures of both while inflight, MSN137 and MSN160 )

That is the plan, 3 frames in 2014, 2 in both 2015 and 2016, and 3 in 2017. Though it may have changed, but any change would go against Airbus plans of 30 this year,...

The 30 deliveries are just for guidance.
