In a piece of 6th Jan. shown on www.bloga350.blogspot.co.uk/ the seating outline only shows electromechanical window shades under Extra Features in Business Class (BC) , not Economy (E). Does that mean that this feature is immobilized in E seating or that it is not controllable by the adjacent seat as I presume would be the perk for the BC Electromechanical shades are only fitted in business class, in economy, conventional window shades are fitted. Sorry I also forgot to mention a couple of other points from the blog mentioned above. The main text of the article states E 18 inch-wide seats yet the brochure referred to above states 'up to 18 inch' (and seat pitch also 'up to 32 inches'). Is it the case then that some seats are NOT that width i.e. below the much-marketed Airbus minimum width? I can't see why this would need to be the case or is it simply sloppy journalism? It is possible that a few seats do not meet the 18in/32in specifications. I was on a Qantas A330 last year and when moving from one aisle to the other (the rear cabin was mostly empty so I spent some time walking around) I noted that the last row of seats had slightly less seat pitch than the other rows.

Yes that I usually the case with most aircraft. When you go on Seat Guru the last row will usually be marked as being less good because of less pitch and also for noise from the galley. However there is one advantage: Noone from from being upset about pitching your seat backwards (I hope that is the right phrase).

The last rows on the A330 are usually of a different configuration due to the tapering of the rear fuselage. When you go on Seat Guru the last row will usually be marked as being less good because of less pitch and also for noise from the galley. However there is one advantage: Noone from from being upset about pitching your seat backwards (I hope that is the right phrase). The last row is also marked as bad due to less recline (sometimes none), being against the bulkhead.

Then if true (!), the 'replacements of QA1' to Frankfurt can't have been due to dispatch problems with 99.85% quoted. So what were they due to?

So the Double dayly service start tomorrow Or will she just perform the currently flight instead of MSN6? QR booking system still shows starting on sunday with 2 A350. Friday and saturday are still an A330 and an A350.
