In the original pic - here a 100% crop - you see little vibrations. They originate from the vibrations on the wooden bridge the tripod was placed on. With me

double WOW, one for the picture, one for the 30s!! Fabien I used a not so solid tripod as I do now - so 30 secs is ok. But it was "arschkalt" = very cold and windy and it was the first time I used a radio trigger(?) to shoot: the transmitter in my hand in the warm pocket of my jacket. Very comfortable!

yes, looked like this Still in service and very useful when the cam is on a tripod. But now I have more than this because I want to catch an A380 at nightly take off - to trigger 5 power flashes (Vivitar 365 - LZ 68 @ 100ASA) so you'll see her/him sharp in the same situation. I know it will work because I once shot a test picture - the plane was 250m high - and it was only one of the old Vivitar powerflashes...
